Razer - deathadder 3500 gaming mouse - black

It strikes the right balance of functionality, ease of use and price point comparing to other programmable mouses. Highly recommended. Day traders often use their computer mouse extensively to control their order placements on various trading platforms. One of the most used order placement tools is the price ladder or DOM on these platforms. You cannot beat the speed of having all the price levels displayed visually, allowing the trader to just point and click to have the orders placed.

It all sounds perfect but there is a catch — the mouse has to be perfect for the job or it is going to cost you one day. One well known problem faced by many traders is the need of middle button to place stop orders on NinjaTrader. The other one is the need to use control key or the shift key in combination of mouse click on XTrader and other platforms to place stop and stop-limit orders.

Side buttons feel different, not sure how to describe, could be the same issue as the first I've stated travel distance Overall a great mouse, Just be prepared because it doesn't "Feel" the same as the regular Deathadder.

Though you should be used to it in within a week or two. Most likely just caused by the use of different switches on the inside. Pros: A good high precision mouse without a lot of frills. Well balanced and quite suitable for FPS gaming.

Cons: After about a year into using the Deathadder, it developed a problem with the USB cord which would not function unless taping the end to a fixed position and jiggling it around. I also own a Razer Diamondback which suffers from the same issue.

Both required a USB cord transplant from another mouse to get working again. Also about a year into using the deathadder, I noticed the left mouse button's microswitch starting becoming a lot less crisp and precise and started showing signs of wear and is not nearly as responsive as it was during the 1st year of ownership.

The original razer bloomslang also suffered from the same issues with similar usage. I've since gone back to using my older Razer Diamondback as it tends to work a lot better for me. Overall Review: Overall, the deathadder is a good mouse, but its durability compared to other mice is definitely questionable when considering the issues I've had with USB cords and microswitches. I'm currently shopping around for a new mouse to play Battlefield 3 and will probably not get another Razer because of these issues.

If you're looking for a mouse that will last you more than a year of intense gaming, I might consider looking elsewhere. Overall Review: Great mouse. I hope Razer keeps this model around a while. Hopefully they will since they have had 3 versions or more of it already. This last version is really awesome. I had the original dpi version and it's still going, but I figured it was time to upgrade.

I'll keep the dpi version as a backup. Pros: Well theres a few things you need to know about this mouse. From the original deathadder To this one it has different rubbery sides thats easy to grip that obvious 2. I put my old deathadder and this one into the same usb port and used the same mousepad. And it has better tracking. I could tell when i plugged it in that something was different. I'm not sure of what it is.

But I believe there is a difference between the drivers. I believe its the tracking like i stated last time. Cons: 1. The mouse feet on the deathadders have always annoyed me. But thats a personal opinion. Razer DeathAdder. Ergonomic Right-Handed Design.
