Map of austin showing zip codes

Once we get everything decorated you guys need to come over for dinner. We already painted and put wood floors down as well as converted the dining room into an office with French doors.

The yard is looking nice without having to lay down new grass. Jim was right, a little water and weed control and it came back to life. This is why I have always enjoyed working with you and have stayed with you - you work. I have had realtors in the past who just waited until there was a buyer and then did all this at the instruction of the title company and at the last minute.

McFarley Can't tell you how much we appreciated your help with the sale of our house. We seemed to establish rapport with you right from the start. You were so diligent in keeping us informed of every conversation and correspondence between you and all the principals in the transaction.

We felt we could trust you completely. We're enjoying the wine. Hope to see you again soon. I am certain that we could not have sold the house without you. When my mother and I listed her house, you were my only choice. The sale of my home in Rollingwood went so well eight years ago, that I knew you were the realtor for us.

You are a consummate professional. You responded immediately to any questions that arose, and your kindness and calm manner were especially appreciated.

A big thank you from everyone in my family! The things you did above and beyond our expectations on the sale of our home were so very important to us and the successful closing. We will always be very grateful. The advice and assistance on our subsequent purchase again was amazing and appreciated more than you know!

Thank you!!! I really enjoyed working with you to sell my house and to buy a new one. I will really miss seeing and communicating with you on a regular basis! You were so impressive in every aspect of the process, from your thorough knowledge of real estate to your honest professionalism in dealing with other buyers, sellers, and their realtors, to your sensitive and caring manner.

We always appreciate your amazing effort. We enjoyed visiting with you and look forward to working together again. We're so excited about the upcoming move that we started the make-ready this weekend.

Thanks for all the smart suggestions. We'll do our best to have this place spotless in time for the photographer. And by the way, we know that you got drawn into a considerable amount of effort on this the last week before the closing.

We are most grateful, and of course very pleased for the sale to have gone through. Talk to you soon I just wanted you to know that you've truly done such an outstanding job keeping up with all these repairs for us. I'm so pleased and impressed with your dedication to our transferee.

I will highly recommend you to everyone. And I certainly look forward to us working together again. I hope to have more referrals for you in the future. Lets keep in touch!! And again, Thanks so much for all you've done on this property. We couldn't have done it without you!!! You are the BEST. We watched it all with bated breath. As you know we all went different directions last week, so this thank you is late, but very heartfelt.

You have been marvelous all along--great ideas for the sale and showings, great help on the yard. We have been so impressed. We will happily recommend you to anyone who would like to contact us.

Best wishes on future sales. Again, thank you. You have been so wonderful to work with and we appreciate all of your efforts, expertise, help and professionalism in this transaction. We couldn't have asked for a better agent to work on our behalf. She knows the market and she has great follow through on every step in the process. I used her to sell my existing home and to find a new home. I always enjoy working with you and Jim. Stand by as we hope we never have to sell but you know me haha.

You will be first on my list to call. Also just wanted you to know that you've truly done such an outstanding job keeping up with all these repairs. I'm so pleased and impressed with your dedication. She is knowledgeable, caring, reliable and very detail oriented. We had a real peace of mind being out of state while leaving Roselind in charge of selling our house in Austin.

Many thanks to Roselind for going above and beyond her normal duties as an agent to help us with a smooth transition! Concise and understandable for the consumer. Diana and I hope you will be able to make it. You and Jim have been great, and have really added to the process. You can always count on us as a good reference We have worked with a lot of realtors over the years since we've moved so much.

You guys have definitely moved to the top of our "BEST" list. Truman We really appreciate all of your time and patience this past year in our search for a house. It was wonderful having you and Jim and a third and fourth set of eyes for all of the homes that we looked at.

In the end, it was worth the wait. We're in the midst of all of the fine-tuning, but it should be great when it's all done! I just wanted to drop you a note telling you how much I enjoyed going through it. Rarely does a site provide so much useful information. You have done some really nice work. Gary and I cannot thank you enough for the valuable information you provided — both on paper and in person! We feel so enlightened about Austin neighborhoods and homes. We would be totally lost without your help.

Thank you, thank you! I visited your website and wanted to tell you that it's very good! Comprehensive, clear, friendly. Nice work on this! Well, I have been here a week, and though there are still boxes piled high, it's starting to feel like home!

I just wanted to say "thank you" one more time. I entered the process clueless and overwhelmed, and I so appreciate you taking time to walk me through all of the little details from start to finish. People kept telling me "if you have a great realtor, it makes all the difference," and they were right! Our offer was not the highest, but Roselind presented it so professionally that the sellers allowed us to match the high offer.

We will always be grateful to her, and she and Jim will always be welcome in our home. However, don't think you're getting off that easy. I hope we are more than just a manilla folder to you :- , because we are planning on inviting you over to see our new home, and establish our friendship, for we are not planning on leaving the area any time soon.

We'll be in touch. Roselind, your knowledge of contracts and the legal aspects of reality is amazing and you are so professional in all your dealings! ZIP codes near me are shown on the map above. The additional 4 digits help USPS more precisely group mail for delivery. The map of the first digit of zip codes above shows they are assigned in order from the north east to the west coast. The first 3 digits of a ZIP code determine the central mail processing facility, also called sectional center facility or "sec center", that is used to process and sort mail.

All mail with the same first 3 digits is first delivered to the same sec center where it is sorted according to the last 2 digits and distributed to local post offices. The sec centers are not open to the public and usually do most sorting overnight. As you can see from the map of the first 3 digits of zip codes , the digits after the first are also generally assigned from east to west.

In the map, 0 is closer to white and 9 is much more vivid. It's easy to follow the gradient across each of the zones even though there are a few exceptions such as the southwest tip of Georgia which uses 39XXX like central Mississippi. Despite the fact that ZIP codes seem to be geographic in nature, that wasn't their intended purpose.

They are intended to group mail to allow the USPS to deliver mail more efficiently. Some ZIP codes will span multiple states in order to make mail routing and delivery more efficient.

In most cases, addresses in close proximity to each other are grouped in the same ZIP code which gives the appearance that ZIP codes are defined by a clear geographic boundary. However, some ZIP codes have nothing to do with geogaphic areas.

When ZIP codes appear to be geographically grouped, a clear shape cannot always be drawn around the ZIP code because ZIP codes are only assigned to a point of delivery and not the spaces between delivery points. In areas without a regular postal route or no mail delivery, ZIP codes may not be defined or have unclear boundaries. The main issue is discussed above: there simply isn't always a clear geographic boundary for a ZIP code.

The Census Bureau and many other commercial services will try to interpolate the data to create polygons shapes using straight lines to represent the approximate area covered by a ZIP code, but none of these maps are official or entirely accurate. They provide a very close approximation of the area covered by a ZIP code. You can easily notice some of the boundary issues when viewing our maps.

Very rural areas aren't labeled as belonging to a ZIP code such as much of Nevada and Utah where there are few, if any, addresses to deliver mail. If the address is on the same street as a ZIP code boundary on the map, be sure to search for the full street address to determine the ZIP code instead of relying on the map.

Their purpose is to convey statistical data about regions that are familiar to most citizens. As discussed above, it is difficult to precisely define a geographic area covered by a ZIP code. ZCTAs were developed to account for some of the difficulties in assigning an area to a ZIP code and to precisely define a geographic area. In general, they are updated once every 10 years for the Census.

The Census assigns an area to a ZCTA according to census blocks the smallest geographic unit used by the census.
